| Aitutaki Glass Bottom Lagoon Cruise |

One of the best ways to explore the lagoon and reef area of Aitutaki is to spend a day with Lawton Story, aboard his glass bottom the Lagoon Explorer. Head out through the main passage to the outer reef area with Lawton Story and explore the fantastic reef formations.
If you have never ventured beyond the reef, here is your opportunity to do so with an experienced and knowledgeable guide. See turtles at play in the open ocean and schools of parrot fish feeding on the coral heads below you. Then head back into the lagoon and enjoy a cruise out towards Motu Maina where you anchor in approximately four feet of water. Here, you will see large schools of colourful tropical fish. Get in amongst them and have them eating out of your hands. Lawton will also guide you through a Giant Clam Farm. You will find out more about the species and how Lawton, and the Marine Fisheries are trying to increase its numbers in the lagoon.
The Aitutaki Glass Bottom Cruise is a great all-day tour for the entire family. Recommended for first time snorkelers and young children.
The actual tour and lunch runs for up to six hours, operating Monday to Saturday. Tours start at 10am. Our 25 foot Aluminium Vessel seats 12. There is a minimum of 4 people required for a tour, and a maximum of 12.
